Welcome to my corner of the web
Hi there, and welcome.
After years of leading engineering teams, building software across a variety of domains, and mentoring others in the tech space, I’ve finally carved out a small space online to share what I’ve learned, what I’m building, and what I’m thinking about.

This site is part portfolio, part lab notebook, and part long-form reflection. You’ll find:
- Selected projects that showcase ways I've used technology to make my life (and maybe others) easier, to show my kids what I do, or ways I've solved interesting real-world problems that I've faced.
- My professional story including the teams I've led, the products I've helped build and launch, and the systems I've helped architect.
- A blog (this thing you're readying now) where I'll be writing about engineering leadership, system design, AI, technical decision-making, and the occasional breakdown of my side projects.
- Possibly a post here and there about moments of existential crisis and life in general.
Why This Site?
In my current role as an Engineering Manager, I get to work with incredibly talented people to solve hard problems. But I also enjoy stepping back to think more deeply about the how and why behind the work: how we build effective teams, why some software lasts while other systems crumble under complexity, and what makes technical solutions elegant, maintainable, and scalable.
This blog gives me a space to unpack those thoughts and hopefully connect with others who care about these things too.
I’m also using this platform as a sandbox for learning and experimentation. Some posts will dive into new technology, automation, and performance optimization. Others may explore product thinking, developer experience, or leadership lessons learned the hard way.
What's Next?
This is just the beginning. Over time, I plan to add walkthroughs of recent projects, how-to guides for tools I find useful, and notes from things I’m exploring — whether that’s drone video analysis, generative AI, or building fun tools on the side.
If any of that sounds interesting, I’d love for you to stick around. Subscribe to the feed, reach out to say hello, or follow along as I share new ideas.
Thanks for visiting
